2017 SquashDrive Slam Raises Over $340,000!

The SquashDrive Slam Surpasses Expectations!

The SquashDrive community gathered together on Thursday, May 11th at The University Club of San Francisco for an exciting evening of squash exhibition matches, a cocktail hour, and the Annual Slam Dinner and Live Auction hosted by Missy & Yvo Smit and Lauren & Jamie Ford. A highlight for all attendees was SquashDrive student Raji Davenport's speech on how the program ignited his confidence and has allowed him to thrive at a private high school in San Francisco. Thanks to our generous donors, we raised a record-breaking $240,000, which will be used to support the growth of our College Prep program and increase enrollment this fall. 

On Saturday, May 13th, over 100 Bay Area squash players participated in the 5th Annual Slam Team Tournament, a day-long display of fierce competition that raised an additional $100,000. Team HOTSHOTS, captained by Lance Minor and Alex Kurth, were champions both on and off the court; their team not only captured the SquashDrive Slam title, but were also our top fundraisers bringing in $17,000 as a group! Huge thank you to our guests, players, and sponsors - our future success would not be possible without you!
