Share Your Story: First Nations, Métis and Inuit Cancer Initiative Survey

Do you know a cancer care provider or a First Nations, Métis or Inuit cancer patient/survivor? Do you know a family, friend or loved one of a First Nations, Métis or Inuit person who has gone through their own cancer journey?

Through the Canadian Partnership Against Cancer, the FNHA, Métis Nation British Columbia, BC Association of Aboriginal Friendship Centres, BC Cancer Agency, and Provincial Health Service Authority are working to improve the complete cancer care continuum experience for First Nations, Métis and Inuit people in BC. The focus of the initiative is to create more accessible, culturally relevant services from diagnosis to discharge with a focus on rural and remote communities.

A survey has been created to gather stories to learn more about the cancer journey, evaluate our progress, and to keep us moving forward. The survey will be online until the end of October and respondents will remain anonymous.

Access the survey here.
