"Every Summer Has a Story!"
From the lazy days at the pool, park, or beach to scary stories around the campfire, summer evokes memories that cannot be recreated in any other season. Teens entering grades 7 to 12 are encouraged to join the Guelph Public Library’s “Every Summer Has a Story” reading club at any Guelph Public Library location starting Monday, July 3rd until Saturday, August 26th, 2017.
Who Are We? Explore "Our Stories"
The Guelph Public Library is proud to present "Our Stories". Enjoy these films about 8 local Guelphites through the eyes of eight local film makers as part of our Canada 150 celebrations. This project was funded by the Government of Canada. Financé par le gouvernement du Canada.
Andrew Goodwin, "Our Stories" project manager and owner of beautifulguelph.com, shares, "Guelph is full of people who have fascinating stories, and is also home to many story-tellers. This film project connects these two groups, and the result is an eclectic collection of unique short films." A special thank you to these Guelph Filmmakers:

Be sure to join us at the main library for many special guests this summer. I cannot wait to meet each and every one of you! #SummerFun = #LibraryFun
Donor Spotlight: Meet Bella
Bella just turned eight years old and one of her favourite authors is Robert Munsch. For her birthday, she choose to generously raise funds for the Guelph Public Library to purchase new Robert Munsch books so everyone in the city could enjoy reading them as much as she does. Libraries do matter to everyone! Thank you Bella for your support and being an amazing role model!
