Over the past 24 hours news accounts about our land protection legislation has been thrust into the national spotlight.

I want to provide a brief message, simply to state our focus on the successful passage of HR312 remains as strong as ever.

While there are clear detractors who seek to derail our efforts for financial interests, we are driven by what is right and what is just. 

Our Elders set the example decades ago by standing strong in protection of the land and our aboriginal rights.

We continue that legacy.
