Click here Let's all just take a little more care...A PA Trainer who had a huge impact on me - Anel Martin (@AnelMartin) - has nominated August as a month of self-care. So, I'm taking a leaf out of Anel's book - the new Fitbit is out of the box, charged and set up, and I'm busy logging steps and food intake. My poor little pupsters have never walked so much!I also encourage you all to make yourself a priority. ♥We can help a little...Easy Car Maintenance Free Class: One way we're going to help look after you is by making driving safer and cheaper! Workshop with Judy Salmon: Another way we can help you prioritise yourself is to continue the work we started back in June, when we held our Curious Career Management workshop with Judy Salmon, who helped us take a good look at what we want from our careers and lives, and what we need to do to ensure we live a life of no regrets. Ha! Just realized - yet again, we're ahead of the game - whilst August might be the month of self-care - we actually started this journey in June!! Anyway, Judy Salmon will be holding a further workshop on the morning of Thursday, 8 November at Froginwell Vineyard - so SAVE THE DATE! You don't need to have attended the June event in order to attend this one. Here's what Judy will be looking at:
We look forward to seeing you at these two great upcoming events and, in the meantime, encourage you to take time to notice all the small joys - as it's often too easy to overlook life's small joys whilst searching for the big ones. ✴ External PA Network of the Year 2018 ✴ We've been shortlisted! Venue visit: Sapphire SpacesWe had a great time at the launch of Exeter Gin's crowdfunding campaign. The event showcased Sapphire Spaces as a great setting for networking events with a difference. The kitchens are fully functional, so great for cocktail making or cookery demos. Here's our very own Lynn Gillard showing off her G&T making skills! Workshop : Crypto-currencies ₿Huge thank you to Rebecca Eccles for facilitating our crypto-currencies and block-chain technology workshop. Wow! That lady knows her stuff! Rebecca talked us through the various crypto-currencies, how they're 'mined', and how these currencies can be bought, stored and spent, as well as how they've performed over recent years. We also took a look at block-chain technology - what it is, how it works, smart contracts, and discussed the potential impact on businesses and, in particular, sectors such as Law. A number of us then went on to have our first 'dabble' in investing in crypto-currencies... Eeeek! Fundraising updateWe're pleased to announce our team has expanded!
