QUEERCAB GOES ALL YEAR-ROUND

Due to popular demand, Buddies is expanding its popular youth open-mic night QueerCab.

QueerCab will now happen all year-round, on the first Wednesday of every month. QueerCab is your chance to get up on stage and share your special talent, or even make your stage debut, in front of a warm and supportive audience. No experience? No problem. Anything goes at QueerCab and everyone is welcome.

GRACEFUL REBELLIONS AT SUMMERWORKS

Love is a sacred act of grace. Rebellion is the refusal of obedience. Joy is a state of divinity and destruction. Power is given to those who take. Can a queer Afghan woman identify herself in an occupied land? Written and performed by Shaista Latif, directed by evalyn parry, and presented at the Theatre Passe Muraille BACKSPACE.
