Good morning, super awesome TCA viewers! I hope you had a GREAT Easter and/or Passover weekend. We had a relaxing weekend at home and enjoyed our still mostly reasonable temperatures in Phoenix. Over the course of the next week we'll be getting REALLY close to 100. Hitting 100 isn't too bad here in Phoenix, the problem is once we consistently hit 100+ and 110+, it just doesn't cool down at night. By mid-June, it will be 110-ish during the day, and at midnight it will still be 100. That's when it's ROUGH to be here, and Phoenicians start clearing out for cooler climates!
We stayed cool this weekend in the pool. The pool was a BRISK 70 degrees, but since it was 90 outside, it was comfortable once you got over the initial shock. Sydney and Aubrey
greatly enjoyed playing in the pool, and I made Dads everywhere proud by cannon-balling into the pool and splashing them MIGHTILY! Good times were had by all!
We're continuing to launch new class action investigations every week here at TCA. I'm frankly amazed at the potential fraud the class action attorneys we work with are finding. It's shocking! Big corporations are putting profits ahead of their customers every day, and when they get caught, they're getting hit right in the wallet. Remember, if you serve as a lead plaintiff in a class action, you're compensated for your time. This could mean thousands of
dollars for you, so make sure you see if you qualify for any of the active investigations.
You know what's NOT shocking? I just finished Mike Papantonio's book, Law and Addiction. Like Mike's other books, Law and Addiction was a very swift read and plenty of twists and turns. I was REALLY curious how he would surprise me.
As Mike told me, the
book is "mostly true," and as you read his introduction, you'll see that many of the studies and evidence used in the book are REAL. Billions of pills moved up from Florida, into the South, hooking millions on LEGAL drugs. As states cracked down on pill mills, many opioid addicts switched to heroin. Truthfully, I didn't know that! People are dying every day from opioid overdoses, and attorneys around the country are trying to get Big Pharma to pay up for the habits they've created.
Remember, if you're reading this, YOU MAY GET PICKED for a signed copy of Law and Addiction! You'll get reacquainted with
Deke (who you'll remember from the first two books), and meet Jake, a young lawyer bent on getting justice for his twin brother Blake, who overdosed on opiates. You might think a successful lawyer has the resources to take on a legal drug dealer, but, it's not that simple! Big corporations can spend millions fighting a case, and they'll even try some underhanded things, like putting a six figure settlement in front of a plaintiff to make them go away. I can tell you, I've heard this happen in big pharma cases, and in class actions. The defendants walk up with a suitcase full of money to try and make the plaintiffs go away, not caring about everyone ELSE who had the same problem. It's the attorneys who have to say NO WAY! You need to take care of EVERYONE! Not just one person! You can't escape this one!
On that note, on to
more lawsuit and settlement updates! Who's paying out this week???
That's all for now! Make it a GREAT week!
Warm Regards,
