Christmas payroll and recruitment deadline![]() Tell us early about your staffing requests Salaries are paid early in December, on the last working day before Christmas. This means that there is an earlier than usual payroll deadline: 9 December. If you want to have a job advertised before Christmas, we also need it to have been submitted and fully approved by 9 December. The candidate pool will be made available to recruiting managers later in November. Recruiting from the pool will save you from spending time advertising and shortlisting.
Digital payslips![]() Moving to online payslips from 2020 From January the University will begin the process of moving away from paper payslips. Currently payslips can be seen in MyView, but only by University employees. A new dedicated service, provided by Dataplan, will let us provide online pay advice to all our payees and phase out paper payslips.

Rewarding Excellence![]() Make your nomination by Monday 4 November Rewarding Excellence awards are given to staff members in grades 1 - 8 for a high level of performance over a sustained period of time. Successful nominees will receive an additional salary point within their grade.
