Battersea Lions started their season as U16s with 3 good wins. We began with a very tough 3 - 2 win against an excellent Blue Stars Elite, then played Orpingtron Rovers in the London Cup and beat them 6 - 2. We then followed that up with a 6 - 0 win in the league against local rivals Wandle Wanderers.
Developing as a team paying off.
The boys have been working hard at training, and its paying off.
They only have 1 hour per week, but they are making the most of it.
Its great to see how sport can bring young people from different backgrounds together to achieve!
