CSIA is pleased to announce the release of the new version of the International Customer Service Standard (ICSS:2020-2025).
ICSS:2020-2025 reflects a comprehensive review and audit undertaken by the International Council of Customer Service Organisations (ICCSO). The review committee appointed in 2019, was lead by Christine
Churchill, CEO of the Customer Service Institute of America.
There has been a significant revision of the Standard. This reflects the extensive consultation with ICSS certified organisations in North America, Australia and Asia, along with consultation with ICSS Assessors, ICCSO members, partner agencies, industry bodies, and a large-scale review of current academic literature.
This review has seen a redesign of the Standard including reducing the overlap between some elements; a clearer definition of the requirements under the Financial/Governance
Perspective; and revision of the language and structure to further support organisations to understand the evidence sought to support each element.
