This new format will pave the way for faster and easier access to team presentations, more outreach potential, and more inclusive and accessible source of information. During the Virtual Giant Jamboree - videos are a reliable way to show your projects and assure everything runs smoothly! This transition is led by our Video & Remote Technology (VRT) Committee. This year, there are two new video deliverables for the competition: Project promotion video and presentation video. The guidelines and requirements for each are published. What is a Project Promotion Video? This video should be an introductory 2-minute trailer to your project: the problem you are addressing, your solution, and its impact. It is your project's pitch. Its purpose is to engage a broad audience and showcase a summary of your work. The style and content of your video is up to you. The videos will take part in a special community prize competition during the Giant Jamboree. See the Project Promotion Video Deliverable requirements: What is a Presentation Video? It is your 20-minute Giant Jamboree team presentation. The presentation video should be clear, engaging, and communicate your project to a broad audience. The focus of evaluation will be on the content and how your project is communicated. Our new virtual format offers more flexibility. You are welcome to think outside of the box and creatively address the format and style of your presentation video. See the Presentation Video Deliverable requirements: Video Production ResourcesMaking a video from concept to completion consists of three stages, each of which is essential for producing a quality video: Pre-Production, Production and Post-Production. To give you a fresh start in making these videos, the VRT committee has prepared a list of resources for each stage of Video Production. Visit the resources page to find out:
