Happy Holidays - 'tis the season to dance! But really, isn't that every season here at Sugar Swing?!

What a month...so much Lindy Hop inspiration, and so many mustaches. Hope you enjoyed the live bands, jams, and special performances as much as we did. Those Mad Cat dancers are lookin' pretty smooth. Despite the end of our month of inspiration keep that sizzlin' feeling alive in your hearts and feet while you dance!

With the holidays approaching, we will be adding a Christmas-themed dance into the mix, along with our Friday Night Stomp Lindy Luau, Funk & Soul Night, and a LIVE Jump Session on Dec. 4 with the Dead Stringers. And, don't miss out on our Good Old Hollywood New Year's Eve Gala. We sell out every year!

Good Old Hollywood
A Vintage New Year's Eve Gala

The glitz and glamour of Hollywood comes to Sugar Swing as we present Good Old Hollywood: A New Year's Eve Gala.

On December 31st, we will immerse you in the fantastic world of celebrities, stars, and characters of classic Hollywood films from the 1920's-1960's.

Our classic Hollywood-themed party will feature live performances, food and champagne, vintage fashion and cocktails, as well as Sugar Swing’s finest DJs playing your favorite tunes from the 1920s-1940s for your dancing pleasure.

Practice Sessions

Saturdays at 6:00pm

Sugar Swing hosts practice sessions every Saturday! For a mere ~$5 drop-in fee (or free if you pay for the dance that night), keeners and enthusiasts of all levels can participate in an open practice session of 1 hour. Hosted by experienced dancers who provide fun, casual direction and exercises during the sessions. Visit the Practice Sessions@Sugar Swing Facebook page to see what is happening or to find a partner

Easy Does It Dance &
The Jump Session

The "Easy Does It" dance is similar to a Sugar Foot Stomp night, but with music being a notch slower. We'll play the occasional quick tune, but not so much.

Meanwhile, "The Jump Session" is tuned to be a notch faster than a Sugar Foot Stomp night, but we'll now have occasional slow tunes along with more mid-tempo tunes.

Mad Cat Swing

This swing dance performance group sends out 2, 4, or 6+ dancers to entertain or teach people at both private and public events, such as continuing care centres, schools, corporate events, birthdays, weddings, and festivals. You name it!

Venue Bookings
