Last week it was a maritime heavy DWP and this week it's aviation ladies and gents. The first RAAF C-27J is now in country and is settling into its new home. The RAAF is also expanding its MRTT fleet with the news that another two aircraft will be wearing the roundel in the near future.

The RAAF is half way through a decade of transformation with many of the 5th generation platforms outlined last decade now coming into service. It's the end of an era with Chief of Air Force Air Marshal Geoff Brown retiring at the end of this week. He leaves the RAAF in the capable hands of DCAF Air Vice Marshal Gavin 'Leo' Davies. A sad good bye to Geoff and warm welcome to Leo.
