2. Seasonal Influenza Vaccination 2016
Annual seasonal influenza vaccination is recommended for any person aged 6 months and over who wishes to reduce the likelihood of becoming ill with influenza.
3. Do you have a Winter Strategy Plan?
General practices are asked to help with minimising avoidable presentations to Emergency Departments.
4. 18-month dose of DTPa
With the introduction of an extra dose of DTPa at 18 months to the NSW Immunisation Schedule, NSW Health have provided some information relating to frequently asked questions.  
5. Pertussis Rates Update
High rates of Pertussis cases continue to be reported in NSW.
6. SmartVax Vaccine Surveillance Program
We are seeking expressions of interest from practices to participate in the AusVaxSafety Program, an enhanced surveillance system to monitor adverse events following immunisation.

8. Q&A - No Jab No Pay - Catch up schedule
Free catch-up vaccines are available for children under 10 years of age (ongoing) and persons 10-19 years of age (until 31 December 2017). 
9. NSW Specialist Immunisation Service Advice Line
Do you require advice regarding immunisation for patients with complex or unusual medical backgrounds or who have had an adverse event following immunisation?
10. HPV Register
General practitioners and other immunisation providers are strongly encouraged to notify all HPV vaccine doses administered in general practice to the HPV register, not ACIR.
11. Cold Chain Management During Power Outage
All practices are now required to have a data logger and the benefits of these loggers are well documented, particularly when power outages occur.  
12. Appointment Reminder Translation Tool
NSW Refugee Health Service’s Online Translated Appointment Reminder Translation Tool allows you to translate appointment details into your patient’s own language.
