Nominations for the 2025 Tourism Awards of Excellence and Pineapple Awards are being accepted, and we want to hear from you!

These Awards recognize individuals and organizations who have made outstanding contributions to the Nova Scotia tourism industry.  

Please take a few minutes to review the award categories below and consider colleagues; community members or organizations that would be deserving nominees. 

Awards will be presented at the Tourism Awards of Excellence Gala on Tuesday, December 2, 2025.

Nominations Accepted

Recognize those amazing tourism business operators, innovators and leaders in your community, and nominate a business or individual. 

There are three different categories available for nominations for the Tourism Awards of Excellence.

Alastair and Frances Campbell Tourism Achievement Award - Recognizes long-term commitment and outstanding contributions to the Nova Scotia Tourism Industry.

Tourism Champion Award - Celebrates those who promote the best interests of the Tourism Industry, contributing to Nova Scotia’s competitiveness.

Parks Canada Sustainable Tourism Award - Presented to a person or organization who practices and promotes the principles of sustainable tourism in Nova Scotia.

Celebrating Pride in Service

Nova Scotia has a reputation for being a place where hospitality and service traditions run deep. Taking special care of guests, and each other, is part of our DNA. The Pineapple Awards provide an opportunity to recognize and celebrate someone who has gone "above and beyond" in service to others. 

Do you know someone who provided an extraordinary act of service, simply because it was the right thing to do?  Share their stories by nominating them today.

Selected recipients will be honoured at the Tourism Summit Gala and Awards on December 2nd, 2025.
