Donor Spotlight: S.M. Blair Family Foundation
Thanks to a generous $10,000 donation by the S.M. Blair Family Foundation, the Guelph Public Library has expanded its STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) learning platforms.
These new STEM kits and labs have allowed the library to deliver more STEM programs than ever before. Participants develop problem-solving and critical thinking skills, while gaining first-hand practice with STEM concepts such as gravity, force, motion, momentum, speed, coding, circuity, programming and more. The library is now able to put the power of science, technology, engineering and math into the hands of everyone regardless of socio-economic status, age, gender or ability. Thank you to the S.M. Blair Family Foundation for helping families reach their full potential and create the kind of change that makes our world shine more brightly.
