Nepal: Single-use plastics to be banned in Everest region

Nepal is banning single-use plastics on and around Mt Everest in a bid to reduce the amount of waste left by climbers. The ban, which goes into effect in January, includes plastic drinking bottles and plastics of less than 30 microns in width.
