GREEN MANGO SPRING 2021 TOP STORIES

Breaking

Dear Donors, Supporters and Volunteers,

in this International Day of Happiness, we are delighted to announce the restarting of the courses at the Green Mango Centre (GM). We thank you all very much for your constant support which has allowed us during this period to maintain the courses for the adults, to keep the library open, to train new teachers (Mrs Joséphine and Mrs Yasmine) and to set-up new programs. Our top news stories confirm the importance of empowerment (see below the Ars Légende start-up) and of synergies with federations of associations such as Enfance Tiers Monde and 4dePijler. Coup de Pouce is now shortlisted on the good causes platform. Stay safe!

Educative activities reopen

After 4 months, Congolese kids could go back to school and follow again educative activities. Due to a very high demand, the number of courses and classes has been increased and partnerships with additional schools have been concluded to fill as quick as possible the gap and to address the needs from kids, parents and teachers.

Our outdoor toilet co-funded by the NGO 11.11.11

To optimize the use of the Green Mango centre's outdoor facilities (for sports, beekeeping and agro-ecology notably) we have built an additional toilet and shower block thanks to the support of the NGO 11.11.11 and to the collaboration with the Ars Legend start-up (see empowerment section).
