San Francisco, CA– SpaceVR signs agreement with Jeffrey Manber, CEO at NanoRacks, to join the Advisory Board of the Company. Mr. Manber’s organization was the first company in the world to develop, operate and market commercial facilities onboard the U.S. National Lab on the International Space Station in low earth orbit and beyond. Ryan Holmes, CEO of SpaceVR says, “Jeffrey Manber is a space commercialization legend. He has
had the endurance to power through space hurdles before companies like SpaceX were even thought of. To have him on the SpaceVR Advisory Board is not only an exponential asset to the future of the company, it’s an honor.” Isaac DeSouza, CTO of SpaceVR, says, “We are excited to have Mr. Manber aboard. His expertise in commercial space will guarantee our ability to deliver Overview One as we take virtual reality beyond Low Earth Orbit and into deep space and expand our operations.”
Mr. Manber was formerly the CEO of MirCorp, which leased the Russian space station Mir. He is the only businessman to have ever marketed an orbiting space station and conducted a commercial manned mission to space. He has dedicated his recent efforts to lower government barriers to open markets in space. While in satellite communications he represented the Russian space program during the opening of relations between American and Russian space programs. Mr. Manber has worked directly with multiple governments and private organizations to support market dynamics in both space and other realistic emerging industries. He is now focused on creating a
commercial marketplace in low earth orbit and will use his expertise to guide SpaceVR as we move out into deep space exploration. For more information on SpaceVR please visit www.spacevr.co Follow us on Facebook at SpaceVR, Twitter @SpaceVR or phone: 772-579-7360 or e-mail: Kelley@SpaceVR.co
