Boating, fishing, hiking in the mountains? SLC is a hub for all things outdoors. Not to mention all the culture this budding city has to offer. Most neighborhoods in the city have their own farmers market, street fair, concert series or craft expo. Keep an eye out for all the happenings around town now that the temperatures are rising and those summer nights are calling our names. For me, one of my favorite activities is heading to our family cabin. It’s a close getaway that feeds the soul and allows us to truly spend quality time together. Looking for some land near your favorite destination? Ready for a cabin of your own? I can help you find it that special place. HOME HIGHLIGHT- CABINS AND SECOND HOMES - Choosing a home that feels like your own private getaway is incredibly important. You of course need the proper layout for your family and guests. But there are several factors that go into the second home or cabin of your dreams. Utah has so many great options to start your search. Is a resort town like Park City your vibe, or do you want something a little quieter like, Oakley or Kamas? Do you want to hop on a trail from your front door or do you prefer easy access to your favorite restaurants and concert venues? Is having the easiest and fastest route to the canyons important so you can catch first tracks, or are you more interested in apres ski? Northeastern Utah has plenty to offer. Properties in the alpine offer a secluded feel and are great spring, summer and fall destinations. Winter is an issue many times with cabins in the high country. If you're a big skier or your family likes to escape for holiday get togethers make sure you have snow removal and road access through the sometimes harrowing snow storms we get December through March. The central and southern part of the state are great options as well. Utah's deserts are an amazing and unique part of the state. Massive rivers like the Colorado and Green wind through red rock cliffs and our 5 National Parks are located only a few hours south of SLC. The desert isn't as desolate as you may think. There are gorgeous mountain ranges that stay cool all year down south, and are great options to get off the beaten path a bit more with your new property. In the last year, I have helped people buy a second home or cabin and they love the lifestyle. Let me help you compile and brainstorm some options for your second home or cabin getaway. Not only can she help with personal training, she is also a certified nutritionist. At an early age, Erin began to define for herself what it means to be “healthy” and realized how multifaceted that notion was. It wasn’t until she discovered her own internal and external strength that she understood to be healthy is a balance between one’s mental and physical states. Empowering others to find that balance, define their own idea of health and giving them tools to achieve their best self is what drives her passion. After graduating from the Nutrition Therapist Institute in Denver, Colorado with a certification in Nutrition Therapy, Erin developed "BE Nutrition". There is no master template or standard meal plan because no “one size fits all”. Her customized nutrition plans are hand-crafted to fit the realistic rhythm of her clients lives and personal goals. BE nutrition gives clients’ the tools and education to implement a nutritional plan to help you BE you.
