MPF Staff being silly at Fall Retreat! The MPF Leadership Team has gone through a number of BIG changes in these past few months. We said "see you later" to our incredible Director Colleen Holohan. MPF Program Manager Lauren Currie stepped into the Director position in July and our newest staff member, Emily Conwell joined the team in October. Emily brings two years of AmeriCorps service, experience leading an AmeriCorps summer program and a youth social justice curriculum! There have been lots of changes here at Mass Promise, but what always remains true is the incredible support we receive from alumni, host sites, board members, and friends! Alumni Fall Retreat TONIGHT!It's not too late to join us tonight at Freedom House in Boston to network with Fellow alums and learn from Northeastern's Director of Institutional Diversity and Inclusion on how to foster Inclusive Work Environments. Alumni Spotlight: Ashley GordonMPF Alumna, Ashley Gordon (Class 18 & 19) was recently selected as a member of the Community Fellows Program through the Institute of Nonprofit Practice. CFP is a fully-funded fellowship for high-potential emerging leaders poised to take the next step in their career. Each year, the fellows chosen become part of a growing network of change leaders who will rise together in the field. The Community Fellows Program is a highly competitive program and requires an extensive application process. In reflection on her acceptance to the program and engagement with MPF, Ashley shared, "MPF encouraged me to analyze, and act on, my potential as a leader and social change agent. I view the Community Fellows Program as a continuation of the growth and leadership development I gained while in MPF." This year, MPF Alumna, Georgia Lederman is a member of the Core Program at the Institute of Nonprofit Practice and MPF is happy to have had many Alumni complete the program. “MPF encouraged me to analyze, and act on, my potential as a leader and social change agent. I view the Community Fellows Program as a continuation of the growth and leadership development I gained while in MPF."
