Several tombs from the New Kingdom era, about 1000 B.C., show the tomb owner overseeing men using ropes to measure fields, presumably to calculate the taxes for yield of these fields. We learned this and other tidbits of surveying during National Surveyors Week, when we also celebrated our surveyors with breakfast and a daily goody bag. We appreciate all our surveyors! March was also a time to appreciate all our GUY employees! We celebrated Employee Appreciation Day on March 3 with space-themed treats such as Starburst and Moon Pies. Does GUY sound like a great place to work? It is! And we are looking for awesome people to join our team.
