Click here EXHIBITION 'An exciting experiment in the occupation and transformation of publicly accessible space' - Studio International Known for her powerful installations, performances, and videos which question notions of social inequality and hierarchy, Marcelle's latest exhibition was created using a radical and unconventional process, whereby the artist handed over the creative process to a team of six local artists and technicians. COMING SOON A Slice through the World: Contemporary Artists’ Drawings is a group exhibition presented jointly with Drawing Room, London, which celebrates the sustained power of drawing in the digital age. In an age of mass media, where the rapid proliferation of images leaves many on the verge of digital exhaustion, A Slice through the World explores how traditional drawing might encourage us to slow down and reconsider how we look at the world. The exhibition at Modern Art Oxford brings together a dynamic selection of over 40 recent works by 14 international artists, including ruby onyinyechi amanze, Karl Haendel, David Haines, and Barbara Walker. TALK Join us at the gallery next week to hear Curator of Exhibitions and Projects Stephanie Straine talk through the process of curating the current exhibition, Cinthia Marcelle's The Family in Disorder: Truth or Dare. Stephanie worked closely with the artist to shape the exhibition, and this talk will be the perfect opportunity to learn more about the radical process behind its realisation.
