LAKESIDE NEWS FROM THE SPIRES

A NOTE FROM OUR TEAM

Greetings!

Happy February! This is a month that always gets me thinking of all the love in my life. I am grateful to have the love of a wonderful husband, family and lots of nieces and nephews. But I also reflect on all the love I’ve been fortunate to enjoy with the many friends I’ve made working in retirement communities. It has been remarkable to see the love and friendships that form as new communities come together and neighbors become like family members.

Last month we enjoyed some “Fireside Chats” with several of our future neighbors at The Spires. It was amazing to see such supportive and friendly relationships starting even before the community is open.

I invite you to share the love yourself! Come meet some new friends (or catch up with old friends!) at our next learning event, A Taste of Rome, March 10 at 10:00 AM.

Sincerely,

Laurie Steber, Executive Director

Latest Drone Footage

You will notice our drone footage this month is the same from last month. Most of our site work and exterior views of the building remain unchanged, but what you don’t see is all the finish work happening inside the community. Stay tuned for the next couple of weeks for a special edition of our drone footage – the team at Brasfield & Gorrie will be installing a very important piece of the exterior finish at The Spires!

Please remember that this is an active construction site and visiting the area is strictly prohibited. Video cameras are actively recording the site for trespassing violators.

If you have decided that staying at home might not be a practical long-term choice for you or a loved one, then a retirement community could be a viable alternative. However, there are a number of different types of communities from which to choose and the differences between each are not always easy to identify.
