In this week's issue of Defence Week Premium, our senior Canberra correspondent Tom Muir turns his attention to the two Thales Hawkei protected military vehicles that were displayed at the Eurosatory exhibition held in Paris last week. Tom reveals that Hawkei is thought to be the only horse left in the race to supply the Australian Army with a Landrover replacement under Project Land 121 Phase 4.
Tom also analyses the Steyr rifle variants in use with the Australian and New Zealand Defence Forces and what their respective futures may be.
All this and our usual round-up of international news.
The team at ADM have also just put the finishing touches on the July edition. Keep an eye out early next month as this edition has many interesting articles relating to ADF weapons, Land Surveillance, an updated DCP calendar. The July edition will also include our new military life section.
Cheers,
