No images? Click here Monthly Newsletter | March 2020Dear WIT@UCSF members, We hope everyone is well and healthy. In light of the COVID-19 outbreak and the uncertainties of its spread, WIT@UCSF will be conducting all of our events via Zoom until more is known. That means our March 17th Professional Development Subcommittee information session will be postponed as a result because we feel there is a huge benefit of in-person interaction. As the situation with the virus unfolds, we will be better able to determine when it will be rescheduled. Much gratitude and respect to everyone who is working with the patients directly, indirectly, or with the virus itself in the lab. It's times like these where our priorities are refocused. Please note that all events listed below are subject to cancellation or change to remote participation. We hope your International Women's Day celebrations were fulfilling and inspiring. Kudos to the Office of Diversity & Outreach, Committee on the Status of Women and the Women of UCSF Health for coordinating such a full, enriching schedule. With so many events to choose from, it was hard to pick how to celebrate at UCSF. But we found a way! Thanks to everyone who joined "Wear" Women Shine Crafternoon, where we learned basic circuitry and created light-up name badges and flowers. ^International Women's Day, Crafternoon with Makers Lab on March 5, 2020 UCTech session applications are open and due March 20th.
