It makes it possible for us to pursue what matters most in life. When executives ask this question about their employee wellness programs, my answer is likewise not simple. The good news is that building health power takes much less investment of time, financial expense, and effort than attempting to restore health capacity once it is lost. Building health power is an excellent strategy for companies as well as individuals. Health power is the the ability to create energy, the capacity to function well, and resistance to common illnesses. It enables people to navigate medical treatment environments with confidence and control. HEALTH MUST BE CULTIVATED REGULARLYWhen personal energy and capacity are not purposely cultivated, they diminish, leading to health decline and illness. Ordinary people have great and largely untapped power to draw on inner resources to cultivate health power. Some are masters at it as described in The Path to Health Power: Taking Action to Gain Confidence, Energy, and Control. I think you will find their examples inspiring.
