I'm sure you're tired of hearing this by now but if you haven't already, please fill in the Pre-arrivals survey. This week we are going to look at some Freshers’ Week highlights and provide some final details about arrivals day. What to expect on Arrivals DayPlease prepare for a large volume of traffic. When you arrive you will be met by college Second and Third Year Contacts (STYCs) who will help you unload your car and welcome you to the college. Every college provides a welcome talk for parents and supporters which gives them the opportunity to ask questions about college and university life. All the details you need for arrivals day (including the parents and supporters talks) can be found on our website. College OrientationCollege Orientation is a chance to meet new people and find out more about the community you are joining. The University is a community built on shared values. During orientation we will explain those values and explore how you can contribute to college life. Your STYCs will make sure you know when and where your orientation will take place so you don’t need to worry about finding the right room! Freshers' Week Events TimetableThere is loads to do during Freshers’ Week. Our traditional Block party on arrivals night is always a highlight!
