Note from the RE

This is the first year since 2016 that I haven’t made the trip out to Solo Nationals in Lincoln, Nebraska… While I can say that I absolutely did not miss the 40+ hours in the car this year, I did miss being there.  We had a good group of Susquehanna members go out and compete, and a few winning trophies.  

Nationals is an event unlike any other!  Picture a 70 second course (for slow E Street cars) on the grippiest surface you’ll ever drive on, with a course designed by some of the best drivers in the country.  The scale of the event is also just crazy...picture paddocking over a mile from where the competition course is!

If you see any of our members, make sure to congratulate them on their jobs well done!

Our Last Two Autocross Events

I can’t believe that it’s September already, and that means that the season is soon coming to an end.  Thankfully, we have two more events in October to round out the season.  Our next event will be a double header, points events 10 and 11 on October 2. 

The last event of the season will be a single points event in the morning, followed by our 3rd Annual Mini Match Tour.  We’re going to allow everyone to participate this year, so we hope you stay for the entire day. 

You can register for the October 2 event in the links above, and registration for the final event will be will be open soon. Keep your eyes out for that online and on Facebook.  The last event will be on October 30th.

September Regional Meeting

WE’RE AT ROADHOUSE CAFÉ BAR & GRILL
 

Our next meeting will be held on the second floor at Roadhouse Café Bar & Grill, located at 1031 Eisenhower Blvd, Harrisburg, PA 17111. All members are encouraged to attend. Come an hour early for dinner (and a drink) with other members.

The staff has reserved the back room for us from 5:30pm until they close.  Please make sure you tell them you’re with the SCCA group, and they will get you seated with us.  We look forward to seeing you!
