Click here Exeter PA Newsletter - November 2016It's full on Autumn; the clocks have gone back, we've shared bucket loads of sweets with the trick or treaters, and we're looking forward to fireworks and toffee apples. With such a lot of events over the past few months, we haven't had chance to send a newsletter. So let's put that right straight away! As we hurtle toward Christmas (yep, I said the 'C' word), we've reigned back on events a bit.. BUT, we're planning our programme for next year!
Christmas Post with Exeter ScoutsWe are partnering with Exeter Scouts as part of their Christmas fundraising initiative - to save you money, raise money for the Scouts and the Network's charity of the year - BEEP. We are looking for PAs to have a Scout Post box in their offices, for both individuals and the company to use. Comparative costs are:
All cards posted at post boxes managed by a member of the PA Network will see 10p of each card collected going to our charity of the year, BEEP and 15p to the Exeter Scouts. Carrying on with all things Christmas..Planning a party? We want to share two of our favourite venues with you. With it's stunning Orangery, 80 acres of stunning grounds, collection of vintage cars, excellent service and delicious food, you'll be sure to have a spiffing time at Deer Park Country House Hotel. You can even take your pooch with you! Email Georgie Spiller-Jones for more information. *SPECIAL OFFER* Deer Park are offering free dinner, bed and breakfast to a limited number of Network members this Wednesday (9 Nov) - contact Deer Park for details/to book. Rockbeare Manor is Devon’s newest, and very beautiful, Country House venue. Situated in a secluded spot, just outside of Exeter, this striking Grade I listed manor has been through an extensive but sympathetic renovation process, and for the first time it is opening its gates to host special (bespoke) celebrations and events. The majestic Ballroom seats between 50 and 160 guests. Though in a country setting, Rockbeare Manor is easily accessible by road, off the A30 and M5, just a few miles from Exeter Airport. Email Aimee Spencer for more information. Do please mention that you are part of the Network when making enquiries. Planning on getting away from it all? Then be sure to give Julia White at Travel Counsellors a call. As well as assisting with all corporate travel (she did a great job for me!), she's also on hand to help with personal travel plans too. See below for more information on how she can help - or email Julia. Joint Networks' Conference - 14 OctoberWow..!We had an amazing day at our first full day conference, which took place on 14 October in Bristol. Over 50 delegates from the Exeter, Bristol and Cardiff PA Networks joined us for day of learning and fun. We also had some fantastic exhibitors. I vowed I wouldn't organise another conference, but given the awesome feedback we have received, I might just be persuaded.. It would be great to receive expressions of interest, to gauge whether this would be worthwhile. Just some of the lovely feedback received:
