The Royal Australian College of General Practice Computer and Information Security Standards mandate adoption of computer security measures such as up to date anti-virus software, firewalls, regular, offsite backups and tester disaster recovery plans by accredited general practices. Cervical screening in the Rockdale and Kogarah areasGPs are reminded that Family Planning NSW provides free cervical screening for women in the Kogarah and Rockdale areas at the Rockdale Community Health Centre (16/18 King St, Rockdale NSW 2216) every Thursday and Friday. Please use the referral form here. Alternatively, women can present to the clinic without a GP referral and will be offered the next available appointment. Workshops are targeted at mental health providers who deliver services to clients who identify as Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander. Presenters are trained Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander psychologists who have
delivered more than 100 workshops since 2010. This helps them measure satisfaction with a range of services and activities including their role and performance. Most importantly, they use the feedback received to continually improve the way they support and interact with stakeholders. ![]() ![]() ![]() Although the CESPHN offices will be relocating to Mascot later in the year, the CESPHN CPD program will continue to operate uninterrupted across the region. We are currently scoping new and exciting venue options around the St George and Inner West area (in place of the current Ashfield and Kogarah office locations) and will continue to deliver events at various venues across our region.
