I'm back in the chair for the 500th edition of Defence Week.

There's been a fair bit of news from the far side of the puddle this week as NZ announced the purchase of four P8-As and also released its Strategic Defence Policy Statement.

In other news, AGSVA looks at ways to improve vetting performance, Jacky Westermann from ASPI contemplates the potential consequences should US troops withdraw from Germany, and Lockheed Martin extends its partnership with the National Youth Science Forum.

We'd also like extend a sincere apology to users affected by login issues this week. The issue was on our end and should now be resolved. If you continue to have difficulties, please contact us here.

Finally, ADM invites any company at this year's Land Forces conference to submit a corporate profile by the end of this month. The profiles will feature in our special Land Forces edition. The application form is available here and should be sent to Associate Publisher Kylie Leonard.
