No Images? Click here We are really looking forward to meeting and getting to know you!The University of York is one of only a handful of universities with a college system. A college is a community within the wider university community; a place to socialise, learn new skills, explore your interests and access support and guidance. Our names are Cath and Auriel, and we are the College Managers for Halifax. We manage the college team, which includes Larry and Ruth, our College Administrators, and a team of six resident Tutors, who are also students themselves: Aleksander, Carl, Igors, Obinna, Sasha and Xinide. We work with Halifax students to develop student-led activities and projects and we are also a friendly support network to help you make the most of your University experience. Whether you are living within the College or off campus, our facilities and events are open to all and we are sure you will play a part in making Halifax the great college it is! We can't wait to welcome you when you arrive.
