December 8, 2017

In today's Defence Week, I revisit the topic of STEM and the importance of defence industry engagement in its promotion to young students desperately needed for the future 'workforce behind the defence force'.

A local space race is on and the quest for simulation talent will be helped by the offer of a new TAFE diploma in SA.

The RFT for Sea 2400 Phase 1 (HydroScheme Industry Partnership Program - HIPP) is out and there will be an industry briefing on December 13 - see our Tenders and register now if interested.

ADM' s 48th Edition of the Defence Suppliers Directory should be with you - if you haven't got one email our Associate Publisher now to see if you're eligible for a free copy.

The Call for Essington Lewis Award 2018 EOIs ends next week on December 13 - get your nomination in now!

Finally, our thoughts and congratulations today are with the Royal Navy on the grand occasion of the commissioning of the aircraft carrier HMS Queen Elizabeth - long may she rule the waves,
