Click here New Tools for Community-Based Research Course:February 2017Universities Without Walls has partnered with the Faculty of Education at the University of Ontario Institute of Technology (UOIT) to launch a professional certificate program. Tools for Community-Based Research is a 7 week course that incorporates self-directed education modules and live online discussion. Our goal is to get you ready to participate in and contribute to community-based research teams, especially those engaged with health research. When? The course will run from February 6 - March 31, 2017. You can find the curriculum overview and registration information here: https://education.uoit.ca/static/communityresearch/program-overview.php Scholarships: The Ontario HIV Treatment Network will offer a number of scholarships for persons living with HIV, peer researchers and HIV/AIDS community leaders in Ontario to offset the tuition fee. If you’d like to apply for a scholarship, please complete this short application form by January 30th. About the instructors: Francisco Ibáñez-Carrasco PhD is the Director of Education and Training at the OHTN and a community-based research practitioner since 2003.
