REDS GLOBAL NEWSLETTEREDITION 09 - OCTOBER & NOVEMBER 2016
MESSAGESA WORD FROM JASON REDMAN Hello Team,
It is great to pen a note to you today. I recently completed a triathlon in QLD which takes a massive efforts from people preparing this event. It got my creative juices going, we have a massive responsibility to our families and friends, and ourselves to look after inner and outer health.
Please ensure you endeavour to give yourself time to work on the important items like LIFE itself!
- Breathe: Deep Breathing
- Give yourself gratitude and to each person you touch
- Leave the ego behind and keep your body well and eat like you would feed your million dollar Race Horse that you just purchased to win the Melbourne Cup.
Also, I would like to thank the unwavering commitment of the Reds Global Rigging and Technical Team week in week out. They are a brilliant at what they do.
Remember, 55% of communication is via body language:
I would like to thank all team members who attended the training day event. It means a lot to Reds Global that you made the effort and made the day so fantastic. Thank you once again. Jason Redman.
MESSAGESA WORD FROM DAVE BROWN
Welcome to our October / November Newsletter. We trust you all enjoyed the latest training day. I myself had a fantastic time and it was amazing to see you all.
During the training there were lots of differing opinions regarding spin up panels, therefore, it is prudent that Reds Global clarify their position on the use of panel lifting clutches. We demonstrated during our training day the positioning of the pins facing up and down to explain the inherent dangers in the connection process of the clutches. Lifting clutch safety pins are always supposed to be in the upwards position when doing spin up panels. This is Reds Global position in this matter and moving forward we would like to ensure that everybody has an understanding of how to do this. In the past few months Reds Global has spent a considerable amount of money on larger capacity cranes and as such we would
anticipate gaining more projects in the future with precast panels. The training day was of great success with the feedback we have received. We trust that moving forward if you have ideas on training or what you would like to learn or to be demonstrated to you. Please share these ideas with us, as it is vital that we all understand, learn from each other and always practice, practice and practice some more.
We want to be the best in this industry and the only way to do so is to continue to work together to ensure we educate each other. We would also like to thank Evolution Precast for supplying us with the precast panels for the event, Borger Cranes for assisting us with a mobile crane and to all of our staff for the fantastic turn out that made the day amazing.
We look forward to seeing you and your families at the Christmas party on 11th December 2016 and don't forget Santa is making an appearance so you better be good! Never forget it only takes an additional 10% to make a big difference. Dave Brown
