Dear QSI Chengdu Community, I would like to take a moment of your time to thank everyone who has made my arrival so pleasant. Everyone whom I have come in contact with--teachers, parents and students--has been very warm and welcoming. Prior to my arrival, I had heard great things about the community here in Chengdu, and I can see that everything that I had heard is true. This is a wonderful school with a very supportive community. I feel blessed to be here in Chengdu, and be a part of the school community. I am truly excited to be here. Please feel free to stop by my office and say hello, when you have a chance. Sincerely, Kurt Evan Rix If your child is currently enrolled in an AP class at QSI, whether in person or online, AP Exam permission slips were handed out this week. College Board gives high school students the opportunity to earn college credit by earning a high enough score on the AP Exam. The highest score a student can earn on an exam is a 5 and each university decides how many points are required to earn college credit. The permission slip that was handed out to each student needs to be filled out and returned with payment to Ms. Zoromski by Thursday, March 1. The exam order will be placed on Friday, March 2. College Board has specific deadlines for schools ordering exams outside the United States so this deadline cannot be extended. Please let Ms. Zoromski know if you have any further questions. |
