While many have been focused on the top leadership changes announced this week (a big congrats to all those taking up new roles mid-year), Defence industry also continues to shine. We lead this week with a demonstration by Canberra based-SME ECLIPS (formerly Sea Box International) of their new CROSS technology, a rugged deployable microgrid that can be set up in a few hours.
In other news, the Tasmanian government sends a delegation to seek defence opportunities in the US, I attended the arrival of the 10th C27-J Spartan airlifter at RAAF Base Richmond, ANAO checks the progress of the First Principles Review plus more from around the nation and globe on offer this week.
Finally, nominations for the Women in Defence Awards closed last week. Thanks very much to all those who submitted - interest was very positive with over 100 entries received.
Tickets to attend the gala lunch on July 27 are now available here.
