IMPACT

Coc San Communities Thrive

InfraCo Asia’s Investment Manager, Karen Tsang-Hounsell, made a recent trip to the Coc San Hydropower site, and experienced the way day-to-day life has been positively impacted by community initiatives developed in tandem with the 29.7MW project. Visiting just over 12 months into the project's commercial operation, Karen had the opportunity to see the way the associated livestock breeding programs, crop diversification efforts, and school rehabilitation had come to life over the course of a year. Read more about her trip here.

Inaugural Team Offsite

Members of the InfraCo Asia Executive Management Team decided to spend a long weekend together, on a self-funded basis, at the company’s first offsite on Koh Samui, Thailand. From cooking competition challenges and Muay Thai Kick-boxing to team building exercises and abundant time to connect and learn from each other, everyone came away with a deeper understanding of one another’s work and values, and a stronger one-two punch to boot.

FROM THE CEO'S DESK

At InfraCo Asia, growth and impact are two aspects by which we consistently measure the success of our projects. We have recently seen the growth of our team by three members, and the development of the fruits of some of our project-related community initiatives.

We welcomed Gabrielle Lim, Karen Tsang-Hounsell, and Lindsey Zouein, specialising in financial analysis , investment management, and communications, respectively. Growing our management team in these key areas increases our leadership capital and

allows us to better serve the stakeholders and communities through the projects we undertake.

The importance of a cohesive and complementary team was brought to life at InfraCo Asia’s inaugural offsite, held in Koh Samui, Thailand. The long weekend served as a valuable opportunity to reflect on past successes, deepen professional and personal relationships, and plan for the future in an inspiring setting.

From 19-21 June, myself, InfraCo Asia COO Claudine Lim and our Chairman John Walker were in London, where all nine Public Infrastructure Development Group (PIDG) companies gathered to discuss cross-collaboration and plans for the year ahead.

We look forward to sharing more news of InfraCo Asia’s growth and impact as the next few months unfold.
