Model United Nations SuccessPupils from The High School were once again invited to participate in the annual RADMUN conference. Despite the wet and windy conditions, we managed to make it to the venue just in time. The conference was brimming with lively debate on topics such as ‘The Question of Political Instability in North Africa’ and ‘The Question of the Safety of Healthcare Workers in Conflict Zones’, during which pupils from The High School represented the delegations from Sweden and Turkey. We even had the opportunity to hear some particularly inspirational and thought-provoking words from guest speaker Richard Boyd Barrett TD who attended the closing ceremony on our final day. It was a highly successful conference for The High School with two pupils named Distinguished Delegates
for their participation. It was an extremely beneficial experience for all who took part and we would like to thank our teachers for their support and those who organised the event.
