Looking for an environmental service opportunity? Join the Honors Student Council as we revive our Memphis River Warriors service project! We'll be cleaning up trash at Lake McKellar south of downtown. Bags and gloves will be provided – just bring some close-toed shoes!

Image description 3D Printing Basics Workshop

3D Printing Basics Workshop teaches all the basics of 3d printing technology, as well as CAD platforms, iterative design and rapid prototyping concepts. Registration is $50. The workshop includes all supplies (must bring your own computer with OnShape installed), a Certificate of Completion, and a printed sample designed by you (mailed at a later date). Calling all artists! The Black History Month Committee is accepting submissions for calendar artwork for the 2018 Black History Month Calendar. The theme is Driven to Dream which honors the 50th Anniversary of the assination of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Please send all calendar submissions to Realan Lewis here

Women's History Month Event Submission

This year’s Women’s History Month theme will align with the national Women’s History Month theme, “Nevertheless She Persisted”. We are asking that student organizations program events that will educate, advocate, celebrate and empower women during this month – this is not limited to women only! The committee is looking for inclusive and hands-on events that will engage and expose students to what women have contributed and how we can celebrate and inspire women moving forward. Please submit entries to the Women's History Month Programming Form.

Official Image Submission for Women's History Month

The Women's History Month Committee is now accepting submissions for the official image for Women's History Month 2018! The posters will be prominently displayed throughout the University and the community and the artist's name will accompany her/his image on the poster and t-shirts for the month. The winning artist will receive a matted and framed copy of the poster and recognition at the closing event of Women's History Month as well as on their social media platforms. All undergraduate and graduate students enrolled at The University of Memphis may submit their pieces. All entries must be received by December 14, 2017 at 11:59 pm through the Women's History Month page in TigerZone. If you have any further questions, email umemphiswhm@gmail.com

Memphis Tigers vs. ECU Football game, 11/25, Parking & Tailgate Pass Distribution

With Thanksgiving Break taking place 11/22-11/26, Blue Crew will be distributing parking and tailgate passes for the game on Saturday, 11/25, against ECU on Tuesday, 11/21. Just like previous home games, the parking passes will be distributed at 9:30am and 3:30pm at the UC information desk. Tailgate passes will be distributed in the Student Government Association Office. If you reserved a tailgate spot, a Blue Crew representative will email you with more information about pick up times.

SGA Election Commisioner Application

The Election Commissioner partners with SGA advisors to oversee the SGA election process. Duties include: the appointment and advisement of members of the election committee, the establishment of the election timeline, promotion of the election itself, overseeing all media inquiries throughout the election, scheduling and logistics for the election and all associated meetings, coordination of the townhall/debate/open forum for candidates and voters, approval of all printed election materials, verification of all eligible candidates, and more.
