We've also had Harry Wild from Alta Data here, visiting customers and showcasing their MIL-STD-1553 hardware and ARINC interface modules and cards which are all supported by a 5 year warranty.

X-ES Unveils XPand6212 & XPand6211 SFF Rugged Embedded Systems

X-ES Rugged Systems

The XPand6212 and XPand6211 from Extreme Engineering Solutions (X-ES) are commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) rugged chassis, each supporting two conduction-cooled 3U VPX modules.

Both systems support mission-critical communications with an integrated XPedite5205 XMC/PMC Embedded Services Router (ESR). The XPedite5205 runs Cisco IOS® software with Cisco Mobile Ready Net capabilities, providing highly secure communications to stationary and mobile network nodes across wired and wireless links.

The latest addition to VersaLogic's new ARM family is the Zebra, a rugged, low power module based on the COM Express Compact form factor (95mm x 95mm) and NXP i.MX6 Cortex®-A9 32-bit processors.

The new i.MX6 line is production ready with: designed-in reliability, designed-in extreme temperature performance (-40° to +85°C), shock and vibration durability, 10+ year availability and plenty of on-board I/O.

Dual Channel 1553 for Real Time Ethernet Connectivity

ENET2-1553 from Alta Data is an innovative product that provides “remoting” of 1553 operations on 10/100/1000 Ethernet IP/UDP local area networks (LAN).

eNet2-1553 is a small, low-power, rugged device that provides real-time Ethernet connectivity to for two dual redundant 1553 (A/B) busses. Ideal for remoting 1553 connections for in-field applications or point-point lab usage.

The Condor GR4 3U VPX from EIZO Rugged Solutions is a 3U VPX form factor rugged graphics/GPGPU/video capture and processing card based on NVIDIA’s Pascal™ GPU architecture.

3U VPX Xilinx FPGA

Extreme Engineering Solutions (X-ES) has released the XPedite2570 - a conduction-cooled 3U VPX FPGA module based on the Xilinx Kintex UltraScale XCKU115.

The XPedite2570 features 12 rugged, protocol-independent fibre optic transceivers operating at up to 10.3125 Gb/s, along with 8 GB of DDR4 ECC SDRAM in 2 independent channels capable of up to 38 GB/s aggregate bandwidth.

Remote Modular PC

myOPALE from ECRIN Systems provides a simple solution for applications that need more I/O boards than can be fitted in a standard Industrial PC based on backplane PCB.

The design is based on COM Express Type 6 and integrates Embedded Low Power SKU’s with 10 years life support.
