Only time will tell what political repercussions are in store for Defence as we patiently await the outcome of last weekend's federal election. In the meantime ADM Senior Correspondent Julian Kerr provides an update on Phalanx for the LHDs and other Navy units as the US awards contracts key to its future amphibious and replenishment missions.
ADM will also keep an eye on the Armidale class sustainment tender which closes tomorrow. Austal/Babcock, Thales and KBR led teams are all in the mix with support from local SMEs in both Darwin and Cairns to maintain the fleet. Stay tuned.
We also have news from three defence contractors – Taylor Bros Marine, Meggitt Training Systems Australia and BSE Maritime Solutions – as well as some handy tips on cyber resilience,
