It’s that time of the year where Destination Hauraki Coromandel (DHC) invest time representing the region and tourism product at a series of trade events. Regional Tourism New Zealand (RTNZ) IBO Event

Last week DHC’s General Manager Hadley Dryden spent 2 days giving 60 updates to Inbound Agents.

High demand for accommodation in our region continues, particularly around Tairua and Mercury Bay. There is also interest for more guiding and wellness product, plus recommendations for the top dining locations.

eXplore (Central North Island Trade Show) and TRENZ

We are getting ready to attend the eXplore show alongside 7 other regions and 105 products. This year there will be 9 stands from Hauraki Coromandel - the most we've ever had!

In May we will return to TRENZ alongside Driving Creek and also Mercury Ridge who are attending for the first time.
