A word from the whole team...

'Tis the season to be jolly! It's that time of year again, the tree is up, there is food everywhere and predictably someone's gone mad with the tinsel. But it's the time to relax and unwind with friends and family and look back on all the good things that have happened in the year.

And boy what a year it has been! From a team of two, we have grown exponentially (with new people expected to join us in the new year too) and are on track for a very successful year as the European City of Science. The conference is taking shape and we are excited to welcome you, our speakers and delegates, to the wonderful city of Manchester (just in case you missed it, we were voted one of the best cities to visit in 2016).

We would like to say a huge thank you to all those involved in organising ESOF. A lot of time and dedication has gone into organising the programme to be the best yet. Of course, ESOF wouldn't be possible without all the amazing speakers that have agreed to share their knowledge and passion of their subject with the delegates of the conference. So to you we say thank you too.

We hope that you have a restful holiday and come back in the New Year feeling refreshed and we look forward to seeing you in July (it will arrive quicker than you think)!
