Other Resources

Lettercase is part of the National Center for Prenatal and Postnatal Resources, which also includes Brighter Tomorrows and Down Syndrome Pregnancy. If you want to order our Down Syndrome Pregnancy titles, Diagnosis to Delivery: A Pregnant Mother’s Guide to Down Syndrome (in English or Spanish), Welcoming a Newborn with Down Syndrome, or Your Loved One Is Having a Baby with Down Syndrome, please go to Woodbine House.

Credible

All of our resources are accurate, up-to-date, balanced, and credible, reflecting input from national medical and disability experts. Understanding a Down Syndrome Diagnosis is recommended in guidelines by the National Society of Genetic Counselors (NSGC), the American College of Medical Genetics and Genomics, and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and our prenatal screening and testing pamphlet was uniquely prepared with assistance from representatives of NSGC. This means our materials meet the highest standards for credibility.

Print and Digital

While the Lettercase products are available for free digitally, printed materials are useful for expectant parents, obstetric medical providers, genetic counselors, hospitals, and support groups. Discussing testing or a diagnosis can be overwhelming, and patients say that they need support and information right away during what can be a very emotional time.

Read more about our distribution of printed materials to all obstetricians in Kentucky.

All proceeds are paid to the University of Kentucky's Human Development Institute and are used to support the cost of the medical outreach program.
