No images? Click here Note From The REHappy New Year everyone! It’s crazy to think that a few short years ago, I was writing to you as the new Squeal editor, and here I am as your RE. I’m looking forward to this year - we have a really good group of leaders who have stepped up and are motivated to make our programs successful. I can’t wait to see what this year brings! I’ll try to update your occasionally, and when needed - but you’ll most likely be hearing from me in other ways in the Squeal. I don’t want anyone to get sick of me! I look forward to this new opportunity, and I hope that I can be the leader that you all need and deserve. If you ever want to talk about anything, step up to help, complain...etc, I am here. My contact information is on the website, so feel to reach out by phone, by email, or through Facebook. Here’s to a kick ass 2020!! Keep It Classy Susquehanna Autocross Chiefs NeededWe’re not even a month into 2020, and we’re already in planning mode for this year’s season. We have some vacant Chief positions, and we’re looking to get them filled. The two positions that are currently vacant are: Worker Chief & Registration Chief. Both positions require some work before and after the events themselves, so listed here is a brief description of the job titles. • Worker Chief will work with the chairs to help assign the workers for the event once the heat and class orders are decided upon. They will need to have this completed before the start of each event. They will also give out worker assignments to everyone before each heat starts. • Registration Chief will help answer questions people send in through the event registration forms through Motorsportsreg.com. They will also be trained on who to use MSR, so they can assist the participants with any changes/problems/questions they have before the event. They will be at the event early to set up the registration area, and check everyone in using the iPads and MSR. Being comfortable with people and computers is a must for this position. To read a full list of the duties for the jobs, please look under the “Autocross Committee” with the link below. If you’re interested in taking on either of these Chief positions, we’d love to hear from you! Please email myself and Chris Brown at autocross@scca-susq.com.
