Good morning, everyone! I hope you had a fantastic week! I got to spend some time with my Dad, so that's a good thing, and being in my hometown, I got to eat two VERY Tucson local meals. Steakfingers, a cheeseburger, fries and GARLIC BREAD from the Lucky Wishbone, and an Italian Grinder, Ranch Fries (with fake bacon bits on top) and an eegees frozen drink from eegee's. Quintessential Tucson and DELICIOUS! If you happen to be in town, I'd highly
recommend stopping by both! You can't find them anywhere outside the Tucson area.
While I was with my Dad, I got to share a story that made him laugh. As kids, my Dad would tend to sample our ice cream, cake, etc., "to make sure it's safe!" I've kept the tradition alive with my girls, and they cringe when I buy them ice cream or another treat if I don't get my own, fully expecting the DADDY SAMPLE rule to come into play. Well, Sydney has become an expert herself when last week I sat down to eat a cookie and she said, "Daddy? May I have a bite?" Being a generous father, I said, "of course" and carefully held the cookie out so she could take a nibble. Did she take a nibble? OHHH NOOO! She's my daughter! Sydney's bite ate up 3/4 of the cookie. I stood there staring at the sliver of cookie left,
not believing my eyes, as Sydney's chewing away, giggling with glee, and said with a full mouth, "are you proud of me Daddy? Sydney sample!" HAHAHAHAHAHAHA Yes, I was proud, and a tear came to my eye with all that pride (and the despair of losing most of my cookie LOL). Kids definitely follow the example of their parents! I was quite happy to share that story with my Dad on Saturday, it gave him a good laugh as well!
On the work side of things, we're continuing to push for more coverage of lawsuits so you don't miss out on your ability to submit your claim. A big one closing soon is the Boy Scouts of America case. If you
or a loved one was sexually abused while in the Scouts, you'll want to get your information submitted TODAY! The deadline to have all your paperwork filed and submitted to the judge is early next month. If your paperwork isn't submitted on time, you may miss out. It's a VERY strict deadline, and there's more paperwork than usual to get submitted due to the type of case. Make sure you get it done now because once that money is gone, it's very likely gone and done forever.
OK, on to more lawsuit and settlement updates!
That's all for now! Make it a GREAT week!
Warm Regards,
