The autumn harvest brings friends and families together for the last long weekend of the year. And at the centre of it all is the dinner table where good food, great stories, and special moments are shared. In that spirit, we would like to share a few fall recipes from our tables, and wish everyone a healthy, happy Thanksgiving.
Top your Thanksgiving. With cheese.
Brussels sprouts maybe a hard sell at Thanksgiving, but these aren’t your ordinary Brussels sprouts. Covered in a bubbly, cheesy sauce and coating of buttery, crispy bread crumbs; our Brussel Sprout Gratin will convert any vegetable skeptic. Perfect for entertaining, or any holiday. Be sure to use a big serving spoon.
Ready in 10 minutes, these Pumpkin Spice Parfaits are a quick and healthy way to get your pumpkin cheesecake fix. Warm spices and a hint of maple syrup come together with pumpkin, smooth cottage cheese and a sprinkle of granola in this delicious harvest treat. Enjoy as a guilt-free dessert, snack, or even as breakfast.
If fall has a flavour, this is it. Our Smokey Bacon, Squash and Sage Pasta serves up harvest favourites. This luxurious pasta dish gets a velvety texture from mascarpone cheese, which melts into the skillet for an instant sauce. Ready in under an hour, and serves 6. Who wouldn’t fall for it?
We’re proud to help the SHEAF/ESPIGA Foundation fight poverty in South America. The latest project involves the introduction of a cocoa crop to the Department of Boaco, a poor rural community in Nicaragua. The project is expected to improve quality of life for 24 families who will receive cocoa seedlings, and help many more with assistance processing.
