To Begin

Greetings! Thank you for at least reading this far. This is my first monthly newsletter. The goal is to promote and celebrate artisitic achievements, as well as bring awareness to important issues and spark discussion and thought. Realtime updates throughout the month can always be found on my website.

Othello Is About To Open!

It's been such a pleasure rehearsing in Connecticut for the last 3 weeks. We have all been on quite a journey in a very short time, and I believe we will have an exellent show to prove it!

Teaser: Things and people are not always what they appear to be. However, there are always reasons that we use to justify our actions.

Previews are October 2nd & 3rd, and we run October 4th - 20th. Check out the cast announcement from Broadway World.

Ticket and show info can be found here.

And yes - that is my husband behind me with a knife while Sasha directs.

I Finally Did a Comedy!

But, I may or may not, at one point be in my underwear...I swear I'll do something soon that my father can watch.

It's a brilliant short film written and directed by Andrew Neary and shot in a beautiful old cabin in the Catskills. More info about the film and photos from set will appear in the next issue. So for now I will include a photo I took of a campaign poster, which at first glance, clearly reads Cats Kill Citizens dot org....

Trailer Coming Soon for The Gilgo Beach Murders

This is a controversial piece that was made out of a desire to give a voice to those who can no longer speak up.

Again, we see an example of how we all make choices in our lives, and have reasons that support our actions. But sometimes those choices don't bring about the outcome we had hoped for. The unfortunate girls who unknowingly got involved with The Craigslist Killer were human beings with families. They all had moms and dads. We have no idea what kind of situation or what life circumstances brought them to a place where that line of work seemed like the best option.

This film in NO WAY condones prostitution. But, it does promote the idea that we can't judge people's lives, especially if we don't know their stories. No matter where our paths take us, we all have worth.

Thank you so much to everyone involved.

In Closing

I would very much like to thank everyone for their support. Again, I would like to send out content that is interesting, relevant and worth reading. Therefore, if you have comments or suggestions I am open to hearing them.

In closing: take care of those around you by first taking care of yourself.  The only way we can help another is if we ourselves are as whole as possible.
